I chose the bulldog because it was a good value and I wanted to participate in the computer "conversation" with my granddaughter. The bulldog came promptly and was in perfect shape. Later a real doggie visitor came, grabbed it and the toy was put through a very rigorous couple of days. I expected the poor thing to be in shreds the second day. They must be very well made because it was none the worse for wear when the visitor went back home.

My son and his friend wrote this review - The Webkinz site is very fun to play, I get on at least once a day. However, there are many, many bugs that Webkinz is ignoring. I purchased Spring Wallpaper for a room because in the preview it had bunnies on it and I love bunnies, but when I got it to my online house it didn't have any rabbits on it! I was very mad and I couldn't sell this item. The only way to contact Webkinz is by pre-made messages which claim my problems are non-exsistant. I did find a way to send a message to the website about a different problem. Using this way they said they would investigate and fix my problem but it has been like a week and my issues remain! There is no phone # either! In summary, there is no way to ask the questions I want to ask. I'm very angery at Ganz!

This was our first Webkinz and my 8 y.o. daughter just loves them. Good quality material and well made. We immediately ran out and got a bunny and a golden retriever too. The kicker with these pets are that the kids go on-line and use their secret code to bring their pets to life on-line. There are games, trivia, caregiving chores, friends (communication is limited for safety to drop-down menus) and much more. After a year, you have to pay a fee to maintain your pet on-line, but either your kid bored of it and you won't need to or it's worth it because your kid has had so much fun.
